Denver is only about an hour up I-25. If you’ve got newcomers, family visiting, or just want a change of scenery, here are a few day trips worth the drive: Meow Wolf (Convergence Station) - immersive art you have to see to believe. Plan 2-3 hours. Colorado residents save with valid ID. Red Rocks - the hiking and parking are completely free year-round. Concerts spring through fall, but the trails are open daily. RiNo + Denver Central Market - breweries, street art, and a food hall with something for everyone. The museums - Nature & Science, the Art Museum (kids 18 and under are always free), and the Botanic Gardens. Save this for the next time you want to get out of town without going far. It’s two. If you’re selling a single family home, this is your moment. The average sale price just hit $577,202, the highest it’s been in 13 months. There’s only 2.9 months of supply, and homes are selling in 43 days, almost two weeks faster than April. That’s a seller’s market. But condos and townhomes are telling the opposite story. Average prices are down 5.7% from last year, there’s 5.0 months of supply, and they’re sitting on the market for 64 days. That’s a buyer’s market. Same city, same month, completely different advice depending on what you own or what you’re shopping for. This is exactly why a city-wide “average” can be misleading. The Springs is showing off this weekend. The Manitou Springs Wine Festival is Saturday (VIP already sold out), and the Pikes Peak Gem Show runs all weekend with kids 12 and under free. Neil deGrasse Tyson is at the Pikes Peak Center Friday night, and Saturday is National Donut Day up on Pikes Peak.
