One of the best parts about living in Colorado Springs? Denver is only about an hour up I-25. If you’ve got newcomers, family visiting, or just want a change of scenery, here are a few day trips worth the drive: Meow Wolf (Convergence Station) - immersive art you have to see to believe. Plan 2-3 hours. Colorado residents save with valid ID. Red Rocks - the hiking and parking are completely free year-round. Concerts spring through fall, but the trails are open daily. RiNo + Denver Central Market - breweries, street art, and a food hall with something for everyone. The museums - Nature & Science, the Art Museum (kids 18 and under are always free), and the Botanic Gardens. Save this for the next time you want to get out of town without going far.
