Buying a home in Colorado Springs?

Buying a home in Colorado Springs? Here’s something most buyers don’t think about until it’s too late…the foundation. Foundation problems can happen anywhere in the Springs, not just one part of town. Expansive clay soil, mine subsidence, poor construction, drainage issues, and freeze-thaw cycles can all cause damage over time. Here’s what to watch for: - Cracks in walls or ceilings - Doors or windows that won’t close right - Large vertical cracks in foundation - Uneven or wavy floors If you see these signs, a structural engineer inspection runs about $500 and can save you thousands. Not every home has issues, but knowing what to look for before you buy is everything. Have questions about a home you’re looking at? DM me - I help buyers understand what to look for.
