El Paso County Home Sales for September 2015

Home sales decreased in El Paso County by 13.9% for the month of September when compared to the previous month of August. Compared this time last year, single family home sales are 16% higher.

There were 165 fewer single family home sales in September 2014. Compared to the previous month of August, the average sales price ($267,612) and the median sales price ($240,000) decreased. Last September, the average sales price was $253,218 and the median sales price was $225,000. Competition among home buyers remains fierce in the current real estate market; many sellers are receiving multiple offers and selling their homes within days of putting them on the market.
